OLB moved to DE Empty OLB moved to DE

I think it should be illegal. any OLB moved to DE plays out of there mind. a 75 could go up to an 85 n up. they may do it in the NFL. but an average player doesnt turn into REGGIE WHITE in real life. but in this game those playerss will make a less skilled playerlook good cuz there guy is playin out of there mind. and thats BS cuz if a guy is killin u with a guy that blows at his natural position but is better then god at DE. to lose to a guy like that is BS cuz to me it shows u have NO STICK SKILLS. example- elvis dumervil is a 70 OLB but at DE hes like an 88. pretty lame.

But if you have a shortage of DE but have a Surplus of OLBs, Then why would you sit the far superior player. BTW- Overall means nothing.

alot of guys play with OLB on the end Im one of them but I also play with sorry guys on the DE that jsut have speed. I dont think there is anything wrong with it.... I feel and understand your point and with you feel that way but its not something that Ill get madd about seeing someone else put a guy there cause it happens in real life

no. but its frustrating to give up a sack sometimes to a guy that u know is average and cuz hes at end hes awesome. yes they do it in real life, but is a average OLB an automatic stud when moved to DE, NO. Sometimes yes but in this VIDEO GAME they all are awesome when moved.thats all im sayin. kieth rivers a 81 OLB is a 93 DE. now that sounds realistic to who? like i said ill be checkin it out 2 c if it could help my D out in situations. usualy if I put sum1 at de from olb they dont jump in rating they stay in the 70s.. only 6 guys I know jump besides stud lbs ( like suggs duh 99) but manny lawson , dummerville , those rookies/ gholston ( rookies being sintim ayers 1 other guy )

I think its completely fine and fair and you shouldnt be changing a rule that would be effecting teams who developed certain guys 2 be des and not olbs also never drafted or developed a de so theyd be screwed and probably leave the league bc that is unfair ...

in childsplay i put woodley at dend after i traded will smith away. i also have lawson but i dont find him to be strough enough to go on the dline despite his rating boost. sometimes i'll even put mario williams at olb since he has decent coverage ratings. i dont really use the overall ratings to determine my depth chart and i try to keep my studs on the field for as many plays as possible

LD u said it best u want the best players out there that you have

you left out you also wanna develope your best players ..maybe u have a 22 yr old and 28 yr old lb .. dont wanna bench either but both cant start ( bc you have your lbs stocked just follow along) throw him in at de if the de is old or w/e hell get stats n develop

I think its fair bc like he said the overall doesnt say the hole story.. u could lack the strength and be a pass specialist or the other way around stoppin the run or theyre just decent at both but i dont find it to be any advantage...

okay in relation to elvis dumervil... he was a de last year and was just moved to a lb this year because of mike nolans new system. he is a pro bowl player and according to updated rosters he is in high 80's or low 90's as an lb and 99 on the line. he did get like 15+ sacks this year. he is a great player and madden rating did not do him justice at the beginning of the season.
