Dighomie is a cheating bum

So I debated on posting this or not, because I know this guy is a bum and I can easily beat him any time I play him. But i decided to post because I know he will just continue to break rules and piss people off, and its better to replace him now when his team is 1-2 then later when he is 2-10 and nobody wants to take over his team.

This guy broke several rules in our game last night, and even when I told him he was breaking rules, he either ignored me or had some smart ass comment.

So here goes. I have replays that I will post when I figure out how and get the time.

His very first drive he goes for it on 4th and 6 from his own 35. I pause it when i see him line up and tell him this is a sim league. he says he isnt going to call a TO. I say no problem, just take the delay of game and ill decline it and you can punt. (I have had to do this is a lot of games already, kind of annoying that I have to remind people they cant go for it on 4th and 2 from their own 40) He replies "no" and proceeds to run his play and come up 1 yard short. Even though i stopped him, this is the one that really pissed me off. I play in sim league to get away from all the ranked game bums who go for every 4th down. This guy got the opening kickoff, and immediately went for it on 4th and 6 from his own 35. If people want to play that arcade style of football then fine, there are tons of leagues out there that allow it, or just play ranked games. But I thought this was a sim league where people come to get away from that garbage.

Then he is driving again with 2:30 or so left in the half. He goes for it on 4th and 3 from around the 50 instead of punting like the rules state. His excuse is "you get the ball at halftime I want to try to score" Well no shit you want to score. So do I. You got stopped on 3 downs and the rules state that you need to punt. I dont care who gets the ball at half, or who has the lead. Rules say you gotta punt there. Every time I got stopped I punted on 4th. I had a 4th and 3 from his 39. I punted. Did I want to go for it there? Hell yea, I have 100% confidence i could have got that 3 yds, but this is a sim league and the rules say I gotta punt there so I did. Why the hell should I punt on 4th and 3 if nobody else is going to?

So im up 14-0 at halftime. He comes out with an onside kick to start the half. Another rule broken. Shit it was only a 2 score game, why even onside it?

He then went for a few more fourth downs in the 3rd quarter when he was in his own territory. He also did a few more onside kicks in the 3rd quarter. I thought no onsides unless behind in the 4th?

Every single run play he did was a sweep or toss of some sort. ( im not really complaining about that because it was easy to stop, but this is a sim league and i thought running the same play/type of play over and over is frowned upon) Its actually pretty funny, I just started overloading the edges every play cause all he did was sweeps. One run up the middle probably would have gashed me pretty bad, but he never tried it once.

So I would recommend booting this guy. I know the final decision is up to the commish but please consider that it is still early in the season and someone could take over his team. If we wait too long to boot him then nobody will want to take over a team with a crappy record halfway through the season. I can guarantee that he will break these rules again. He couldnt even make it past his first drive against me without going for it on 4th and 6. He cant say he didnt know the rules because I paused it and told him he was breaking the rules he he still did it. His playcalling was also BS using the same tosses and sweeps over and over again. Eventually he will play someone who cant stop these cheap plays and they will complain about that too.

I had to laugh when he messaged me after the game and said "you should have punted on 4th a few times too but you went for it"
Check the box score. My 4th down conversion rate is 0-0. Meaning I never ran a play on 4th. I either punted or kicked a FG every 4th down I had. So nice try there buddy.

If anyone can tell me how to upload replays to the site that would be awesome. I have 5 replays saved of this game that prove what I have said here.

Sorry for the long post I just hate cheating bums, and I joined these sim leagues to get away from them.

When i played him early today. He punted when it was 4th and 3 from his 43ish yardline. I was on his 23, 4th and inches. I had Brandon Jacobs so i went ahead and went for it. I got it. He messaged me telling me " I punted why didn't you." Irony >>>>>>>

Don't worry fellas...he was truly the last one of our group that I was worried about. I've already replaced him with a new legit player. The Vikings and Buccaneers will be filled shortly as soon as their owners return. Vikings owner was moving all weekend...and Buccaneers ownner will be back shortly.

I noticed you said you were in his 39 yd line on 4th and 3 and you punted because you are in a sim league and the rules say you MUST punt from there.

If I am not mistaken the rules state:

3) If u are inside your 40 yard line and its 4th and greater than 1 - U MUST PUNT THE BALL

Now I have played games where I have ended up at my opponents 45 or at the 50 on 4th and a few and people have stated I must punt or they will be at their own 42 or so and they will msg me saying man it sux I have to punt here.

Now I am NOT saying I want to go for it in those situations (depending on circumstances of course) because I like to play with class regardless of the particulars of rules but does the rules section need to be updated or something or is it in fact correct; that you only HAVE to punt when within your own 40 yd line and more than 4th & 1. I just want it to be clear in case there is an absolute need to go for it on 4th and 3 or so from my own 42 or whatever the case may be.

(i can move this reply if it is deemed to be in the wrong spot, I just saw this as a good place to bring it up)

To take the time and call this clown out on his BS - a lot of guys would have just whipped his ass - and forgot about him - and he would have been left to pull his BS on some1 else - i ty and respect u for taken the necessary effort to get rid of this clown... we all work hard to build a legit franchise - the membership must work together to rid our network of these jokers!!!!

Scrillstar - your inturpretation of the punt rule is correct - every1 has a different idea of SIM football - when making this rule - i always thought of the area between the 40 yard lines as being MID-FIELD - and the area insdide your 40 as YOUR END - so the rules were designed with that in mind - THIS IS HOW WE CAME UP WITH THE RULE

thanks for the feedback guys and thanks for clarifying the rules. I was just gonna be lazy and not report him cause I knew he was an easy win, but I know that low class cheezers arent the kind of people that are gonna stay active after they start a season 2-7.
